since 1978. Started career in the early 80's in the Old Port
restoring brick buildings. Moved on to the West End of Portland.
Restored 16 buildings, of which 6 were nominated for the National
Historic Registry. Brokered the sale of over $25,000,000 worth
of real estate in the Greater Portland area, including Sugarloaf.
Graduate of Bentley College in Waltham, Mass. and Western State
College, Gunnison , Colorado. Nicholas Resides in Falmouth and
Bigelow Station in Carrabassett Valley with his son Nick. Nick
has been a Sugarloafer since 1960. |

DLM Corp. owned by David McDonald . David is a third generation
builder/developer, having worked in Washington DC, New York,
Boston, and Maine. David has developed/built multi-family,
commercial, industrial, and medical buildings, and has
awarded the historical award for the State of Maine. He has
developed/constructed over
properties valued at over $200 million. Additionally, David
provides design/build and business development plans. Presently,
he is construction manager/builder
for the Timbers, a 88 Unit development at the base of the
Sugarloaf. David resides in Carrabasssett Valley with his
wife Stacey.
